Wes Miller

Chief Executive Officer

Wes brings nearly two decades of experience in SaaS software and higher education. As CEO of Simple Higher Ed, he leads company strategy and fosters a strong, people-first culture that prioritizes both employees and customers. Since securing the company’s first customer in 2017, Wes has remained actively engaged in daily conversations with clients to ensure products and services align with the evolving needs of the higher education community. He earned dual degrees in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from Florida State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Gina McArthur

Executive Vice President

Gina brings over 15 years of leadership in driving innovation in the education technology sector. With a strong background in digital learning, SaaS platforms, and strategic partnerships, Gina has led transformative initiatives that increased user engagement, and accelerated growth across higher education ecosystems. She has worked with thousands of colleges and universities and is known for building relationships with a deep understanding of learner needs and institutional challenges. Gina holds a BS in Economics from Siena University.

Stefani Orbik

Vice President of Client Services

A former educator with nearly a decade of classroom experience, Stefani pairs her background in teaching with more than ten years in customer-facing roles to bring an education-focused, client-first approach to her leadership. She oversees the Implementations, Customer Support, and Client Engagement teams, placing a strong emphasis on building lasting client relationships and ensuring that Simple Higher Ed clients feel supported at every stage. Stefani is a graduate of Florida State University.

Matthew Compton-Clark

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Matthew has over a decade of experience applying technology to improve education and organizational leadership, helping teams work smarter and serve their communities more effectively. He has strengthened operations and expanded access to resources that help people thrive across industries including technology, non-profit management, and education. Matthew holds a MS in Management from the University of Illinois and a BS in Business Management from Colorado State University.

David Glenn

Director of Product

David Glenn has over 10 years experience leading high performing teams and implementing thoughtful strategies. He is passionate about addressing the challenges unique to the higher education field with intuitive solutions designed to grow and evolve with shifting customer needs. He holds three degrees from the University of Tampa, first securing Bachelors of Art in Writing and in English, and then a Masters in Business Administration.

Courtney Treweek

Director of Engineering

Courtney has 8 years of experience in the SaaS industry, including 6+ years in EdTech, leading engineering teams and building solutions that help modernize academic operations. She has designed and delivered innovative software to help colleges and universities optimize workflows, adopt scalable systems, and improve student and faculty experiences. Courtney holds a BA from the University of Florida and an MA from the University of London.

Christy Wessel

Director of Operations and Administration

Christy brings nearly two decades of experience in operations and administration, ensuring day-to-day functions run smoothly and teams feel supported. She oversees key areas including HR, accounting, and logistics, and is passionate about building efficient processes, fostering an inclusive workplace culture, and equipping employees with the necessary resources to succeed. Dedicated to organizational growth, Christy helps create an environment where both staff and customers can thrive.

Hope Swaim

Implementations Team Manager

Hope Swaim has over 8 years of experience in higher education and educational technology. She has contributed to implementing and optimizing Simple Syllabus at institutions worldwide, leading client teams through discovery, training, and project execution to ensure successful adoption and exceptional customer experiences. Hope holds a Master’s Degree in College Student Affairs with a concentration in Conflict Analysis & Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Saint Leo University.

Eva Wetherington

Client Support Team Manager

Eva Wetherington has 6 years of experience in operations management, client success, and team leadership. With a client-focused approach, she is committed to delivering meaningful results and long-term success for both teams and clients. Eva channels her skills into client support excellence in the education technology space by creating resources, improving processes, and serving as a reliable resource clients can count on. Eva has a double Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology from Florida State University.
