Walters State Community College first selected Simple Syllabus through a formal RFP process in 2020 to enhance their syllabus management. After six years of successful partnership, the college initiated an RFP in 2026 to ensure their software solution continued to meet the evolving needs of their campus. Simple Higher Ed has been awarded RFP 26-001, winning the competitive evaluation process once again.
Evaluation Process
Walters State Community College issued RFP 26-001 with detailed criteria for a syllabus management software. Core requirements included integration with D2L Brightspace and Ellucian Banner, compliance with accessibility standards, flexibility for template updates and customization, and a user-friendly interface for faculty and students.
Following the evaluation of vendor submissions, Simple Syllabus was chosen as the solution that most closely aligned with the college’s needs. The platform met all essential requirements, including a successful previous deployment at Walters State.
